Hollywood singer, Celine Dion who is now 42 is pregnant with 14-week twins now. This news came as a surprise even for Celine who desired to have one more baby.

When Celine welcome his son Rene-Charles in 2001, she had made it public that she wants to expand her family.

The singer’s husband and manager, Rene Angelil, announced the baby news to People on Sunday.

Rene said they were ecstatic and Celine is just hoping for a healthy pregnancy. She was hoping for one baby and the news that they are having two is a double blessing.

In February, the Canadian singer told Access that she decided to passed on performing at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver to focus on becoming pregnant.

Celine went through several vitro-fertilization procedures before she got pregnant. She got pregnant in her fifth attempt but had a miscarriage. She however, decided to keep trying despite the setback.

She had hoped to grow her family, be with her son and be a mom for a second child.

She said it was her greatest dream to nurture a second child in her family.

The couple are planning on finding out the sex of her babies next month.

Meanwhile, Dion is currently working on new albums in English and French.

She will return to Las Vegas in 2011 for a three-year residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
