Erica Blasberg Cause Of Death

Erica Paige Blasberg is one of the top 50 women in the U.S was an American golfer. She was born last July 14, 1984. Blasberg achieved as the medalist at the year 2000, became a professional golfer in 2004 and started LPGA Tour last 2005. She was known as one of the LPGA’s more photogenic players as we can see her beauty.

Surprisingly just at around 3:00 PM (PT) on May 13, 2010 at her home, Henderson, Nevada, this 25-year-old professional golfer died as Henderson police were dispatched in response to a 911 call and discovered her dead body – this according to Associated Press. The Clark County coroner’s office ruled that Erica Blasberg’s death was a suicide.

According to the police report, Dr. Thomas Hess who discovered Blasberg’s dead body and removing some items from the scene and to include the suicide note but the contents of the note haven’t been disclosed. But still Dr. Hess was put into jail and released about 35 minutes after bailing $637 Tuesday afternoon.

The coroner’s office said: Blasberg’s suicide due to asphyxia, coupled with the presence of toxic levels of prescription medication in her body, including prescription headache, cough, pain and anti-anxiety medications. The drugs in Blasberg’s body included butalbital, temazepam, alprazolam, codeine, hydrocodone, and tramadol, but Nevada law doesn’t permit the release of details on the amounts of medication.
